🔴 Corfe Mullen update 🔴

A community Protection Notice (CPW) has been issued to a male and female in the Corfe Mullen area following reports affecting local residents.

A Community Protection Notice is a legal notice used to address behaviour that is having a detrimental effect on the quality of life of those in the community. Failure to comply with the conditions of a CPN can result in further enforcement action, including prosecution or fixed penalty notices.

The conditions of the notices issued include:

* Not to approach directly or indirectly any member of the public with the intention to beg for money, sell any item or ask them to withdraw money for you.

* Not threaten or behave abusively to any professional or member of the public in the Dorset Council area.

* Not enter the area shown in red on the attached map.

* Not enter a shop or premises you have been banned from in writing.

We understand the impact that has had on the community and would like to thank residents who continue to report concerns and provide information to us.
